Part Time Physical Therapist
Leavenworth, Kansas
Part-Time (20 Hours per week)
Monday-Friday, School Schedule
Position Available for 2026/2027 School Year
Pay Rate: $54-$56/Hr
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations as prescribed by a physician.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve optimal physical function, mobility, and quality of life.
- Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and functional mobility training.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and rehabilitation goals.
- Consult regularly with physicians regarding patient progress, treatment modifications, and contraindications.
- Complete timely and thorough documentation in compliance with facility policies, payer requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Accurately complete billing procedures for therapy services in accordance with payer guidelines and facility protocols.
- Participate in discharge planning, including home assessments, caregiver training, and patient education to ensure safe transitions of care.
- Supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehabilitation Aides in accordance with state practice acts and facility policies.
- Ensure the therapy environment and equipment are safe, clean, and compliant with infection control and safety standards.

Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current, active Physical Therapist license in the state(s) of practice
- Certification by the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
- One year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred
